EVENT - Food Frontiers Autumn Dinner

Food Frontiers Netherlands-based volunteers gathered at their regular dinner meeting/brainstorming session, this time at Raul Lansink’s (FF co-founder) dinner table with all home-cooked meals!

We enjoyed delicious Peruvian stew, but before that, Dutch specialties, Bolivian quinoa salad and typical Polish dish – pierogi were served. As a cherry on the top of all this, Pat van del Wall Bake, the owner of La Cuisine Français, prepared some sweet delicacies for us, and thanks to Katinka Lansink, we could devour a colourful cake brought especially for us from Peru.

The food helped us to break ice (if there was any), as the new volunteers: Pauline, Meryem, Ikram and Pat joined us that evening and brought a lot of good and new energy into the room.

The focus of future dinners of Food Frontiers is on the Balkans, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and we are working towards making it happen (all with the help of local volunteers at given places). Raising funds, building networks and the base of local volunteers are at this moment the building blocks to the coming events.
